Ijaw young people ask Igbos for pardoning over guardians' part in common war


Ijaw Youths have openly decried the part their folks played against the Igbos amid the Nigeria/Biafra Civil War of 1967-1970.

They, however argued for absolution, stressing that if the level of mindfulness and data innovation accessible today were the same then the Ijaw individuals (who are siblings with the Igbos) would have bolstered the Biafra's cause.

Tending to the Ohanaeze Youth Council's (OYC's) summit held in Owerri; the Imo State capital, the President of Ijaw Youth Council, Comrade Udengs Eradiri, said Niger Delta blundered for not supporting the Biafra's cause, and stored the fault on absence of mindfulness and deception.

He said, "On the off chance that we had the sort of mindfulness and data innovation we have today, then, we would have stood immovably with Biafra to win the war, yet we are striving to determine the issue," he expressed.

Companion Eradiri communicated bliss that despite their part in the common war, "Ndigbo voted overwhelmingly for their child, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, in 2011 and from that point forward the zone has been supporting his organization."

He called attention to that Ijaw adolescents were satisfied with their show of adoration and solidarity, and promised that Niger Delta young people would bolster Ndigbo "when the ball is in their court to deliver the following president of the nation."

He mourned that the issue of bad form that prompted the common war "is still the same issue upsetting the nation (Nigeria) today," and requested coordinated endeavors to address the issues, taking note of that Nigeria must not be permitted to separate (clever however).
